Dynamar 's vessel tracking services are largely used by companies that experience unacceptable late payment for products and services supplied to a vessel. In these cases, Dynamar can assist such a company in avoiding bad debts and write offs by tracking the position and anticipated movements of a given vessel(s) in order to facilitate an arrest, if necessary. In many cases just the threat of an arrest has been sufficient to encourage immediate settlement of outstanding debts.

Additionally, our staff can further recommend a suitable port to take such action where the governing laws will best encourage a successful arrest. While Dynamar does not actually arrest of the vessel, we can assist our clients by providing a reputable lawyer in the applicable port that can initiate the arrest procedures.

In addition to vessel tracking being utilized for debt collection purposes, we have also been called upon to track a vessel(s) in order to establish trading patterns of a given company. This has been done in order to evaluate the fleet utilization of a prospective of existing customer as well as for competition analysis.

We advise the client in advance where a ship is located and work together to ensure an arrest, when necessary. Additionally, throughout the monitoring period we will keep the client abreast, on a scheduled basis, of the movements of the vessel(s).

Dynamar's services are charged on an hourly basis. Our rule is to locate and track a vessel within three hours. We charge according to the actual time spent. Therefore, should we spend one hour we will charge for one hour, and so on. Should we need to exceed three hours, we obtain customer approval first.
