DynaLiners Daily - A novel Maersk Line service
As a group, Maersk has launched the Maersk Line sounding AE19 service which is novel, if not unique, in its routing. Based upon a trial that has just taken place between Busan in South Korea and Gdansk in Poland, consignments will be shipped by subsidiary SeaLand to Vostochny in Russia's Far East, from where they will be carried by train to St. Petersburg. SeaLand will then pick them up again and ship them to Gdansk. Transit time is advised as eighteen days. Currently, forty-two days is offered by the standard all-water option (with one transhipment).
