DynaLiners Daily - A Russian Northern Sea operator
The Russian Government is looking to create a state-run box ship operator to take advantage of the Northern Sea Route. The state would bear the extra expenses involved with operating in the icy environment, while shippers would cover the remaining costs. The proposed venture foresees a service between Murmansk at the European end and the port of Petropavlovsk at the Kamchatka Peninsula in Asia. These two ports would act as hubs.
